Job Title: Quantity Surveyor- Highways Salary: GBP40,000-GBP50,000 + Company vehicle Location: Hampshire About Us: This company are looking for an ambitious QS to help them grow their Highways Division. They are getting increasingly busy as they grow and are looking for a strong minded candidate to support on the commercial operations. Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled Quantity Surveyor to join our team and play a key role in our highways civil engineering projects. The successful candidate will accurately estimate project costs, manage budgets, and ensure cost-effective procurement practices. Key Responsibilities: middot;Prepare accurate cost estimates for highways civil engineering projects. middot;Evaluate subcontractor and supplier quotations, negotiate contracts, and manage procurement processes. middot;Provide commercial support to project teams, including contract administration and cost reporting. middot;Liaise with clients and stakeholders to address commercial issues and ensure contractual compliance. Qualifications and Experience: middot;Bachelor #39;s degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field. middot; years of experience in highways civil engineering quantity surveying/estimation. middot;Proficiency in estimating software and MS Office applications. middot;Strong analytical, communication, and negotiation skills.
