Job Description: We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Learning Support Assistant (LSA). As an LSA, you will play a crucial role in supporting the learning and development of students with diverse needs, ensuring that every student has the opportunity to reach their full potential. Key Responsibilities: Provide one-to-one or small group support to students with special educational needs (SEN), including but not limited to students with autism, dyslexia, ADHD, and other learning disabilities. Assist classroom teachers in implementing individual education plans (IEPs) and behavior management strategies. Foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment where all students feel valued and respected. Collaborate with the SENCO (Special Educational Needs Coordinator) and other members of the school staff to develop personalized learning strategies for students with SEN. Monitor student progress and provide feedback to teachers and parents/guardians as necessary. Accompany students to specialist sessions or therapies, both within and outside of the school premises, as required.Qualifications and Skills: Previous experience working with students with SEN, preferably within a school setting. A compassionate and patient approach to working with young people. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, parents/guardians, and colleagues. Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
