Job description:

SRS are looking for Class 1 Flatbed drivers for one of our clients based in Wakefield. Responsibilities: bull; Safely operate an HGV flatbed trailer to transport goods and materials to assigned destinations across the UK. bull; Experience in transporting abnormal, long, and wide loads on a flatbed trailer, with a demonstrated proficiency in effectively securing loads using chains, binders, and straps. bull; Load and unload securely and efficiently, ensuring proper securing techniques are applied. bull; Adhere to all traffic laws, regulations, and road safety standards while operating the vehicle. Requirements: bull; Valid CPC Tacho Card bull; Proven experience as an HGV driver, preferably with flatbed experience. bull; Excellent driving skills and a strong commitment to safety. bull; Solid understanding of UK road regulations and traffic laws. bull; Ability to read and interpret maps and use GPS navigation systems effectively. bull; Strong organisational and time management skills to meet delivery deadlines. Job Type: Full-time Schedule: bull; Day shift bull; Monday to Friday Experience: bull; HGV: 2 years (required) bull; Flatbed: 1 year (required) Licence/Certification: bull; Driver CPC (required) Pay for the role is GBP13 an hour PAYE.this can have holiday pay added to it to up the rate or kept as it is.
