As a drive to support improvement and growth a requirement for a Production Manager has arisen. THE ROLE This role will suit a Production Manager who recognises ldquo;what good looks like rdquo; and has a clear understanding of manufacturing principles. These will include visual management, KPI rsquo;s, root cause analysis, performance management and lean activities. This understanding is important because a huge amount of work will be focussed on establishing acceptable standards and targets that will be clear to the shop floor and enable performance improvement. In addition to a good technical understanding of manufacturing principles it is also of equal importance that you are able to engage the staff, motivate them and drive improvement the staff will buy into. THE PERSON You will be a confident and experienced Production Manager who has a positive approach and really thrives on improving production. You must be comfortable dealing with potentially difficult situations with a constructive outcome and be consistent, positive and energetic in your approach
