Transport Refrigeration Engineer Benefits * Free onsite parking * 25 days holiday, plus bank holidays and Birthday * Increasing holiday entitlement for long service (capped at 30 days) * Company pension * Group life assurance scheme, plus access to Unum rsquo;s multiple health wellbeing services and employee discount perks * Employee referral scheme of up to GBP500 (before tax) * Continuous technical training and development Transport Refrigeration Engineer Role * Managing individual job assignments and using own initiative at customer sites * Participating in out of hours call-out rotas when required * Using the workshop/ van equipment in a correct manner * Completing any repairs and servicing to the correct standard * Recording usage of refrigeration parts and consumables per job * Correctly recording the use, recycling and disposal of F Gases * Completing all work in a professional and timely manner * Preparing and submitting vehicles to a standard appropriate for the use intended * Communicating accurately with Foreman/ Manager as to work in progress and any anticipated delays or issues * Ensuring knowledge is in line with modern technologies and developments applicable to the role * Responsible for adhering to health and safety guidelines applicable to the role. What are we looking for? Essential: * Own tools * Working knowledge of transport refrigeration applications and current F Gas legislation. * Full and clean driving license * Effective verbal and written skills, coupled with strong decision making and problem solving skills. * Planning and time management.
