As we continue to expand our team, we have a brand-new opening for a talented Buyer / Planner to join our busy Supply Chain Dept. You will play a key role in the procurement of materials, while supporting the Planning function with material status and clear kit dates. What rsquo;s on Offer? * GBP32k - GBP35k per annum depending on experience. * Nest Pension Scheme * Reward Gateway Discount Scheme * Free Specsavers Eye Test Vouchers and access to DoctorLine * Excellent working environment * Career progression Key Responsibilities of the Buyer / Planner: * Review SOB daily to ensure Customer deliveries are executed as planned * Assist Planning with Production Planning if required * Run Customer OTIF reports * Actively interact with Purchasing and Planning to provide direction regarding material availability or limitations against inventory/production plans and develop action plans to address. Communicate/escalate issues as needed to stakeholders * Manage the MRP for a nominated list of commodities or parts. Place orders in a timely manner to meet Customer demands * Review and monitor goods and services to meet production requirements Skills Experience Required: * Previous experience in a similar role (Purchasing/Planning) * Strong level of computer literacy * High level of accuracy and keen eye for detail * Excellent communication skills both written and verbal Positive and flexible approach to new challenge * Use of ERP systems, preferably EPICOR * Broad end to end supply chain and operations process knowledge What rsquo;s Next?
