SEND Support Worker Protocol Education are recruiting for a school in BS10 who are looking for support for a child with additional needs. We are looking for passionate individuals who are wanting to build a career in working with children. This particular role is 3 days a week but we can offer other work should full time be what you #39;re looking for. For this role, you do not need any qualifications or experience but the drive and passion to make a difference to the lives of children. You will mostly be working alongside the class teacher to provide support to the child on a 1:1 basis, also supporting the whole class setting on occasions. The role of a support worker in a school can be a challenging one so patience, a friendly approach and a good sense of humour are required. The Role; bull; To work alongside the class teacher in supporting children with their learning bull; To manage the behaviour of pupils whilst they undertake their work and ensuring a constructive and positive environment is always enforced bull; De-escalating situations within the classroom in the correct way ensuring that safeguarding procedures are always adhered to bull; Carrying out small group work and working with children with additional needs bull; Reporting any safeguarding concerns using the school rsquo;s referral procedures and safeguarding policies.
