Tradewind are recruiting for a Learning Mentor at a multi form entry primary school in Oldham. This school aims to inspire a passion for learning and success in all that they do, and together with parents, and carers, each and every child is encouraged to follow this principle. They believe that to prepare children for the future, they are entitled to the best standards in education, combined with excellent pastoral care to ensure that all children fulfil their potential. This is a full time role to start as soon as possible. The right candidate for the learning mentor role needs to have the following; Experience of working with children who need additional support with overcoming barriers to learning Improve behaviour and raise achievement An understanding of the social, emotional and mental health needs of pupils and be able to establish positive relationships quickly Have an established range of strategies for coping with challenging situations Be a good team player who is professional and adaptable and can show initiative in tailoring learning to meet individual #39;s needs Have relevant qualifications (NNEB, BTEC, NVQ level 3 or equivalent) To apply for this role or simple to find out more email (url removed) or call the office on (phone number removed)
