Test engineer

Position: Test Engineer Location: Buckingham Hours - Mon - Friday Standard Hours Proactive currently have an exciting opportunity for a Test Engineer to begin work for a leading manufacturing and production business in Buckingham Due to rapid company expansion and an ever growing order book, our client is hoping to secure a Diagnostics Repair Technician to help ensure the quality and accuracy of the factory #39;s function is well maintained throughout this new and excited influx of work. Responsibilities: Active involvement across all product testing phases, from research and development to product release. Efficiently prioritize and manage workload to meet project deadlines. Develop and utilize software, firmware, and hardware testing tools effectively. Create and execute comprehensive product testing plans and strategies. Identify and enhance testing tools and processes to improve efficiency. Contribute insights to project planning and decision-making processes. Maintain accurate product test sheets and documentation.Experience Requirements: Hold an Engineering degree or equivalent qualification. Possess excellent oral and written communication skills. Demonstrate a logical troubleshooting approach and meticulous attention to detail. Exhibit automotive domain knowledge and practical experience. Proficient in utilizing hardware testing tools such as oscilloscopes, logic analysers, and multimeters. Embrace a positive attitude and excel in collaborating with cross-functional teams. Hold a full, clean UK driving license. Must reside within a commutable distance of Buckingham. Exposure to GPS and automotive-based technologies. Understanding of various testing methodologies, tools, and industry best practices. Experience with both manual and automated software testing techniques. Proficiency in programming, with a focus on Python.
