About the role We are seeking an experienced Secondary School Cover Supervisor to work in schools across Telford. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising classes during the short-term absence of teachers, ensuring that pre-prepared work is completed and maintaining a positive learning environment. Key Responsibilities: Supervise classes in the absence of the regular teacher, ensuring that students remain on task and engaged in their learning. Deliver pre-prepared lesson plans and resources, following the school #39;s policies and procedures. Manage student behaviour effectively, promoting a positive and respectful learning environment. Provide feedback to the regular teacher on student progress and any issues arising during the lesson. Support the overall ethos and objectives of the school. Good travel links and onsite parkin Requirements To be considered for the role of Secondary school cover supervisor you will: A degree or equivalent education. A natural leader and someone with the confidence to lead a lesson in the absence of the class teacher. A passion for education and providing the highest possible level of support to young people. Hold or be willing to obtain a DBS check Previous experience working as a Cover Supervisor in a secondary school setting. Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are: Referenceable experience working with children.
