Temporary Maintenance Assistant ndash; London SW7 - GBP16.50ph Starting 1st July ndash; 1st September - Weekly pay - parking on site Ritz Recruitment is currently seeking a Temporary Maintenance Assistant to support our client, a historic Student Accommodation based in South Kensington. This role is temporary full-time and will run from 1st July to 1st September. The successful candidate will assist the Maintenance Manager in all-round general maintenance/handymand work involved in all aspects of the site. This is an excellent opportunity to join a hardworking and committed team and contribute to the smooth running of a prestigious accommodation facility. Key Responsibilities: Undertake general maintenance tasks in both internal and external areas of the building. Carry out plumbing tasks, such as unblocking toilets, replacing washers, and fixing taps. Fix leaks and report any immediate problems found. Assist with re-decorating rooms and general carpentry tasks, such as fixing doors and locks. Unblock sinks and descale shower heads. Move furniture and perform masticking as needed. Paint and decorate where required. Skills Attributes: Proven experience in maintenance or handyman work, ideally within a residential/domestic setting. Experience in a trade i.e. plumbing, carpentry, and electrical work. Strong customer service skills and a team player mindset. Ability to adhere to all Health and Safety measures.
