Site Engineering Manager * GBP75k - GBP90k basic * Excellent benefits package - Car Allowance, Bonus, Excellent Pension, etc * Successful Food Manufacturer with CAPEX assigned to invest in the site #39;s machinery and infrastructure * Wirral, Merseyside Are you an Engineering Manager within a fast-paced manufacturing environment, ideally food or FMCG manufacturing? Do you know what good looks like, in terms of leadership, people management and engineering/maintenance strategy? The Company: * site is profitable and has further investment planned * leader in their sector in terms of products but also in their support for their employees, key stakeholders and the community The Candidate: * Proven track record of Engineering leadership in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, ideally Food or FMCG manufacturing. * Ideally used to managing an Engineering department of more than 30 people. * Strong leadership style, able to drive change and engage the team to deliver the Engineering strategy. * Proven experience of delivering improved equipment/asset reliability, using various maintenance techniques, including CBM. * Formally qualified in Engineering * IOSH and Food Safety qualifications preferably. * Coaching and mentoring style of leadership. The Role: * This role reports into the Factory Manager/Site Lead and is responsible for the Engineering department of this large Food manufacturing site. * Lead the Engineering team to continuously improve plant reliability. * Implement and embed Engineering Best Practice, working in conjunction with the Group. * Work in partnership with the other key site functions, in particular Operations and CI to deliver the site objectives.
