Assistant design manager

Assistant Design Manager Permanent London Hybrid working GBP35,000 - GBP45,000 per year + car (allowance) Our client is a very large tier 1 railway contractor in the Electrical field. They require an Assistant Design Manager to manage the design process of 3rd party design houses for their large Railway projects. This is not a design role but the ideal candidate will have some experience of working as a Design Engineer. The is more like a Project Manager role and the ideal candidate will have very strong stakeholder management skills. The design work is done by 3rd party design houses and you will be required to manage these companies to ensure value for money. You will ideally have an Electrical Engineering degree although someone with Mechanical Engineering will be considered. On this occasion candidates with a Civil Engineering qualification will NOT be considered.
