Financial accountant hybrid

As a Financial Accountant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of their financial records. You will be responsible for various accounting tasks, including but not limited to financial reporting, reconciliations, and analysis. This is a hybrid role, offering a mix of remote and on-site work in their Reading office. Client Details My client is a leading telecommunications company based in Reading, committed to innovation and providing top-notch services to our customers. As they continue to grow, they are seeking a skilled Financial Accountant to join their team on a temporary basis. Description Prepare and analyse financial statements, ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations. Perform month-end and year-end closing activities, including journal entries and account reconciliations. Assist with the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights and support decision-making. Assist in the implementation and maintenance of internal controls. Support audit processes and liaise with auditors as needed. Stay updated on changes in accounting regulations and industry best practices.Profile Bachelor #39;s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. ACCA/CIMA PQ or QBE. Proven experience as a Financial Accountant, ideally within the telecommunications or technology sector. Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle). Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and prioritise tasks effectively.
