We have a fantastic new opportunity for an Embedded Software Engineer ndash; C/C++ to join a well-established R D company based in South Yorkshire. You will be working across a plethora of different cutting-edge development projects within a rapidly growing commercial and industrial electronic security systems industry. As the Embedded Software Engineer, you will be responsible for research, design and development of software solutions for new and existing products. You will use your expertise in Embedded Linux C/C++ software design to create innovative products and features while ensuring the code conforms to all relevant standards, is fully tested with no regressions and provisioning a full set of technical documentation. Embedded Software Engineer ndash; C/C++ requirements: 2.1 or above degree in Computer Science, Electronics or closely related equivalent Recent and relevant experience in Embedded Linux C/C++ development, ideally within wireless electronics market Strong Software development skills utilising C and C++ and object orientated design methods and tools Proven experience in an Agile software development environment Other languages including, but not limited to, JavaScript, C#, Python, assembler beneficial. Fluency in Mandarin language is essential for this role. Salary: circa GBP40k - GBP60k + benefits Vacancy Location: South Yorkshire (commutable from Sheffield, Wakefield, Rotherham, Mansfield, etc.)
