Electrical design manager

Electrical Design Manager WFH/Cork euro;90-100k A leading company based in Cork is recruiting for an Electrical Design Manager to play a lead role in the design and delivery of new projects for their expanding client base. Using your excellent technical and team leadership skills, you will be leading a team producing designs and associated deliverables, and overseeing projects to hand over. Responsibilities * Leading a multi-disciplined design team * Producing designs across the full design lifecycle * Responsible for the technical and engineering aspects of projects * Ensure that the project rsquo;s technical and performance requirements are flowed down into the relevant work packages and validated during the commissioning and testing phase * Coordinating all design and engineering activities between the relevant stakeholders * Manage design reviews * Mentor and develop the design team. What you will need * Degree in Electrical Engineering/Building Services * At least 8 years of experience in similar roles * Proven experience leading a team * HM/MV Design experience * Ability to work across the full project lifecycle, from initial development through detailed design, procurement and installation and on to commissioning and handover * A flexible self-starter with a passion for working in a team delivering successful projects * Excellent technical report writing skills.
