Electrical maintenance engineer

This leading manufacturing company, are looking for an Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join their well established team! Salary: GBP37,000+ Location: Sheffield Hours: Monday to Friday 5.30am till 1.30pm, 12.30pm finish on Friday A few of the many benefits: Work with family feel business 34 days holiday Overtime available at higher rates Bereavement pay Training and development Monday to Friday work 2x Death in service Level 4 Westfield Healthcare Duties of an Electrical Maintenance Engineer: Working on CNC machines, presses, saws, forges, furnaces, hydraulics, pneumatics, hammers Attending to PPM rsquo;s and breakdowns on a daily basis Ensure equipment is operating correctly to minimise machinery downtime Ordering parts/ spares to ensure available as and when needed Electrical wiring, panel building, testing, inspection and fault finding Fault finding on PLC rsquo;s ndash; Siemens, Alan Bradley Ensuring daily, weekly ad annual servicing is complete Strip and rebuild key CNC machinery as and when needed Assist with machine installations Providing support and training for apprentices Working with other departments working to continuous improvement to ensure the business is the best it can be Desired experience: You must have at least Level 3 or above in Electrical Engineering (City and Guilds ndash; Apprentice trained) It would be advantageous for you to have HNC and HND qualifications but not essential Ideally have 10 years+ experience within in a Electrical Maintenance Engineer role position recently Ideally have experience with similar machinery previously Must have worked within a manufacturing maintenance background previously Must have PLC fault finding experience Must have the good work ethic, someone who can work independently and within a team environment For further details please contact Beth Roberts at Elevation.
