Senior management accountant

A phenomenally successful, pioneering company in Guildford, Surrey is looking for an accomplished Management Accountant to join their rapidly growing finance department. The Management Accountant will develop in depth knowledge of the day to day financial activities, reporting requirements and month end processes for various group entities, using their expertise to provide effective financial guidance and support to both internal and external stakeholders. What will the Management Accountant role involve? Preparation of monthly management accounts including all journal postings Preparation and submission of periodic VAT returns for entities Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and quarterly forecasts Assist in preparation of statutory accounts and annual audit for SPV companies in IFRS Suitable Candidate for the Management Accountant vacancy: Part-Qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA Accountant Experience of monthly, quarterly and annual management accounting routines within industry Knowledge of IFRS, FRS 102, FRS 101 and UK GAAP Proficient in the use of accounting software and ERP systems (Unit4 Business World/Agresso an advantage) Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels Additional benefits and information for the role of Management Accountant: Discretionary bonus ndash; up to 20% of salary, based on personal and company performance.
