Maintenance Engineer (Injection Moulding) - Job Summary: We rsquo;re supporting our client, a trusted global supplier of premium quality injection moulding tools and rigid plastic-moulded packaging based in Mansfield, Nottinghamshire who are looking for a Maintenance Engineer with Injection Moulding experience to join their growing team. The successful Maintenance Engineer will have experience of working within a high-volume Plastic Injection Moulding environment. Salary: GBP48,000-GBP55,000 Benefits: Healthcare, Dental, Pension 5% company/4% employee, Sick Pay, Gym membership Job Type: Permanent Shifts: Continental shift 4 on 4 off (06:00-18:00 and 18:00-06:00). Location: Mansfield, Nottinghamshire Job Start date: ASAP Responsibilities: Reporting to the Engineering Manager to realise the goals of the department and to provide a first-class service to all internal customers to assist them in realising their goals. Key result areas and key accountabilities: * To maintain all production equipment and machinery both electrically and mechanically. * To maintain and service plan and equipment both electrically and mechanically. * To carry out breakdown repairs to all plant equipment and machinery. * To carry out project work when assigned. * To request new and replacement parts when required. * Must work to a high degree of safety and cleanliness and must be able to work under own supervision. * To ensure that all documentation relating to any work carried out is filled in correctly and completed on time. * Must inform the Engineering and Servicing manager of any training requirements. * Must communicate and co-operate with other departments. * To maintain and implement the planned preventative maintenance schedule. * To ensure that all outside contractors are working to company rules. * To identify areas that can be improved and implement such improvements as agreed with the * Engineering and Servicing manager. * Adhere to the company ISO standards. Requirements of the job: * Minimum of 4 years apprenticeship. * B/Tec Level 4 Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent. * City and Guilds part 232 part 1 and 2. * HNC Electrical Engineering (preferred). * Basical mechanical skills Work Experience and Knowledge: * Minimum 5 years shift engineering experience. * Experience in injection moulding and high-speed assembly equipment. * Hydraulic and pneumatic techniques. * Welding techniques. * Fabricating techniques. * Multiskilling ability.
