Job Title: CCTV/Security Engineer Location: Chester Surrounding - Travel within the region and occasional overnight stays required Working Hours: Monday - Friday, 40 hours per week (Interview to discuss hours/days of work) Salary: GBP32k-GBP35k per annum Job Purpose: To support in service activities, including installation and fault rectification, ensuring the Region is efficient and profitable by meeting customer expectations within agreed timescales. The role involves dealing with large-scale, high-end integrated surveillance control systems for diverse client bases, requiring flexibility, a #39;can do #39; attitude, and occasional travel away from home. Key Accountabilities: General: Provide reliable, courteous, and efficient service. Maintain a positive company image through high standards of dress and communication. Close/update helpdesk after each service visit. Ensure company vehicles are well-maintained. Adhere to company Management Systems. Assist with the call-out rota. Field-Based: Care, maintenance, and repair of complex Analogue and Digital CCTV Systems. Care, maintenance, and repair of functional and managed control rooms. Care, maintenance, and repair of multi-site Access Control Systems. Support and maintain Perimeter Detection Systems. Complete planned preventative maintenance. Occasional nights away. Assist with the call-out rota. Skills Qualifications: Sound knowledge of CCTV, IT, and PID Systems. Sound knowledge of Access Control systems with Site Mustering. Sound knowledge of DVR NVR systems. Desirable knowledge in areas such as PID #39;s, Galaxy Alarms, Cortech GUICEM Access Control, SynergyVideo, Matrix Systems, IP Systems, Networks, Raid Recording, and first-line repairs on Gates and Barriers. Experience in CCTV, Auto Electricals, or Electronics. Excellent communication skills. Basic IT competence. Desirable: Electrical qualification (NVQ, BTEC, or Apprentice trained). Desirable: 5 GCSEs or equivalent, preferably in English, Maths, or Science. Full UK driving license. Relevant experience; knowledge of the bus industry, CCTV, or electrical is desirable.
