Junior cad technician

Junior CAD Technician - GBP30,000 - GBP35,000 based in Leatherhead, Surrey The successful candidate will be working as part of a team, producing single service drawings, incorporating model changes, and performing co-ordination tasks whilst, assisting in the overall project delivery. You will be under the supervision of a senior team member. Responsibilities bull; Producing coordinated modelled solutions for elementary areas. bull; The production of SSDs and end sheets from the 3D modelled environment. bull; Incorporating changes to the co-ordinated 3D services model bull; Preparation and updating of 2D drawings. bull; Incorporating drawing comments in both 2D and 3D. bull; Applying BIM data to the model. bull; Raising technical queries and liaising with clients and design team members. Requirements You will need to have some experience of the building services environment, with some previous working experience of Mechanical, Electrical and Public Health Services within a commercial industry. bull; A sound understanding of Revit. Capable of completing modelling tasks with minimal assistance. bull; A general understanding of Navis. bull; Proficient at annotating drawings bull; A sound understanding of ventilation systems, mechanical services, electrical containment and public health systems. An understanding of how these systems work. bull; Capable of producing simple high- and low-level co-ordination of these systems. bull; Basic understanding of BIM deliverables and principles. bull; Basic understand manufacturing and prefabrication detailing.
