FJA are looking to recruit a Senior Project Manager to strengthen their Delivery team across North and South London out of either their Hampton or Walthamstow offices (hybrid working is available) Benefits as a Senior Project Manager: Car/car allowance (subject to role and level of position) 25 days holiday + Bank Holidays (with an additional 5 days available to buy) Contribution Pension scheme Life Assurance Health Insurance Private medical Insurance And many more benefits including ndash; cycle to work scheme, discounts and savings Hub, kids pass etc Senior Project Manager Responsibilities: Reporting directly to the Operations Manager / Framework Director and you will be responsible for the overall direction, coordination, implementation, execution, control and completion of specific projects You will ensure consistency with company strategy by planning and evaluating project activities, within the time required and within the tender estimate without risk to the health and safety of all concerned while ensuring good customer satisfaction. Implement a stringent Business Management System (BMS) across all project stages, ensuring adherence from tender to completion. Foster strong relationships with clients, suppliers and partners at all levels, understanding their needs and expectations Ensure a skilled and trained workforce, aware of their responsibilities towards safety and quality, investing in training and development to maintain competence. Planning, reviewing and approving Project Execution Plans (PEP), monitoring and controlling project delivery closely, ensuring adherence to timelines and quality benchmarks. Maintain comprehensive records throughout the project lifecycle, reporting non-conformities promptly, identifying associated costs for resolution. Ensuring that appropriately detailed construction plans and method statements are prepared, in place and approved Commercially manage project finances, providing accurate forecasts and estimates. Address commercial aspects promptly to avoid delays or cost overruns. Adhere to Quality, Safety, and Environmental Policies Maintain an appropriate practical knowledge and appreciation of all technical disciplines associated with delivering water and waste water design and build projects. Have detailed working knowledge and experience of project management practices from scheme conception through to end user acceptance Ensure your own continuous professional development by participating in external networking/conferences/ associations/groups, to stay current on industry changes and innovations The successful Senior Project Manager must have: Project Management experience in managing multi-disciplinary design and construction projects, ideally within the water industry . Degree or equivalent qualification in a construction, commercial, or engineering related discipline. Project Management Qualification (PMQ) or equivalent Excellent oral and written communicator with the ability to work in close partnership with clients, stakeholders, and end users. Must be delivery driven with the ability to set targets and manage and motivate multi-disciplinary teams to deliver to time, cost and quality objectives. Extensive experience in project delivery Strategic, operational, technical and management skills Knowledge of Construction Contracts, ideally NEC and/or IChemE, with ability to negotiate and administer Ability to present at MWHT Governance Reviews in a leading capacity Risk Opportunity Management experience Maintain a positive and solution oriented approach to work, providing open and honest feedback.
