Blackstone Recruitment are working with a provider of education, care and support services for children and young people with special educational needs and disabilities who are recruiting for a Support Worker for their sites in Bristol. Please see details below for the full job advert: Job Title: Support Worker Location: Bristol Hours: 40 hours per week ndash; (working to a 2 week rota pattern which typically includes working every other weekend) Overtime is also available. Annual Salary: GBP24,606.40 - GBP26,582.00 PLUS GBP1500 Welcome bonus Salary: GBP11.83-GBP12.78ph - Linked to experience and qualifications Contract: Full-time, Permanent The role: You rsquo;ll be supporting the young people with all aspects of their supported living (including personal care) and supporting them in a wide range of learning, development and social activities including arts and crafts, cookery, music, gardening, swimming, shopping trips and fun social occasions. You will be working 1:1 with a resident on each shift where you will have the freedom to plan their day in line with their choices and wishes, enabling them to be as independent as possible, seeing them thrive and enjoying making memories.
