They cover new project installations and work on large non-infrastructure projects within clean and wastewater. If you are looking for your next move in the water and industrial sector, and have experience in water treatment and wastewater engineering, design, and site-based delivery, this opportunity is for you. Duties for Mechanical Fitter * Carrying out mechanical installations on MEICA projects. * Follow safe working practices ensuring health and safety requirements are followed. * Ensure that all items are installed to the highest standards (pumps, tanks, pipes etc). * Demonstrate the highest values when dealing with peers, staff, customers, and clients. * Ensure compliance with applicable statutory and regulatory requirements. Requirements for Mechanical Fitter * CSCS or relevant site safety card * Relevant mechanical qualifications * Hold a valid full UK driving license GRS (Gearing Recruitment Solutions) operates across the following sectors, frameworks and industries:- water treatment, clean water, wastewater, waste water, wwtw, wtw, thames water, anglian water, cambridge water, essex water, ses water, southern water, southeast water, amp 6, amp 7, scottish water, sutton and east surrey water, wessex water, south west water, severn trent water, welsh water, united utilities, yorkshire water, STW, sludge, treatment works, chemical dosing, sewage, pumping station, booster station, paper mill, brewery, food processing, petrochemical, pharmaceutical, process engineering
