Maintenance engineer

Role: Maintenance Engineer / Multi Skilled Engineer / Either Mechanical OR Electrical Maintenance Engineer/Fitter Salary: GBP40,000 to GBP47,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus overtime (x1.5) and benefits Hours: Monday to Friday, weekly rotation of; 6:15am till 2:45pm (1:45pm on Friday) and 2:15pm till 10:45pm (8:45pm on Friday) Location: Commutable from Crawley, Horsham, Bognor, Worthing, Dorking and surrounding areas Company A medium sized manufacturer who take pride in its retention of staff are on the look out for a Maintenance Engineer, either electrical or mechanical or multi skilled, to join their small, close and friendly team. This is due to one of their long serving Engineers retiring after 10 years in the role and company. Responsibilities middot; Electrical and Mechanical Maintenance of all plant and machinery through fault finding, planned maintenance, breakdowns and project work. middot; Assist with the commissioning of new equipment and planning maintenance around them also. middot; Support the Engineering Maintenance department, and those less experienced. middot; Cover and deal with both mechanical and electrical problems. middot; Help meet the maintenance objectives of the department. middot; Work collaboratively with other teams. middot; Help identify and offer solutions to ongoing maintenance issues. middot; To be actively involved in the development of the PPM program. middot; Complete maintenance paper work. Requirements middot; Qualified Engineer - this could be electrical or mechanical or multi skilled middot; Background in maintenance or service work within an industrial or manufacturing environment, looking after machines. middot; Experience of ldquo;SOME rdquo; of the following; 3 phase, hydraulics, pneumatics, pumps, bearings, chains, gears, control panels, inverters, contactors, relays, AC/DC motors, PLC rsquo;s, sensors etc. middot; Friendly and adaptable working attitude, with the hunger and desire to help shape the future of the company.
