Mortuary Technician Greenwich GBP18.50 per hour (umbrella) Full Time Contract (2 months ) Novax Recruitment is actively seeking a Mortuary Technician in Greenwich. This is a contract without a scope for extension working full time hours. The job: Provide anatomical pathology assistance to colleagues and pathologists Admission, measuring and registration of the deceased ensuring they are identified, cared for and stored in accordance with HTA guidelines To assist colleagues with the delivery and maintenance of a high quality safe, efficient, and effective mortuary service To develop and utilise specialist knowledge and experience related to the work undertaken To maintain an up-to-date knowledge and awareness of recent developments in Pathology The candidate: To have an understanding of current mortuary practice and have knowledge of routine post-mortems, high risk cases, Coroner #39;s cases, forensic work Must hold or be work towards the Diploma in APT Have significant current practical mortuary / bereavement experience Being UKDVI and AHCS registered is preferredPlease submit your application via the contact details provided and you will be contacted with further information about this opportunity or email your CV to me directly; or call me on; (phone number removed)
