Hgv class 2 night driver

The Recruitment Crowd are currently recruiting on behalf of our well known and industry-leading client based in the Peterborough area. We are looking for multiple HGV Class 2 Drivers (CAT C) to join the team. Hours: Nights available working 5 out of 7 (Saturday and Sundays are a must) . Nights start between 01:00am to 04:30am Pay Rate: Nights - GBP13.78, rising to GBP14.43 after 12 weeks. Location: Peterborough, PE3. Job Type: Ongoing with an opportunity for permanent for the right candidate. The role: middot; Safely handling and conveying palletised packages to sub depots. middot; Emphasising safe driving practices and ensuring precise documentation. middot; Typically completing 3 to 4 runs on an average. middot; Drivers will need to contribute to the loading and unloading of the vehicle, utilising a tail lift and pump truck. middot; Engaging with customers while upholding a professional and polite image on behalf of the company. Requirements: middot; Full UK driving licence with Class 2 entitlement (category C). middot; Have at least 1 year of proven experience driving the relevant vehicle. middot; Valid and in date DCPC and Digital Tachograph card. middot; No more than 6 points on licence (minor offences only). middot; Full understanding of WTD legislation. middot; Be prepared to undertake a short driving assessment for the position. middot; Excellent communication skills. middot; A safety-first mindset.
