Role: Mechanical Fitter / Mechanical Maintenance Engineer Hours: 6.00am to 6.00pm on a 4 on, 4 off shift pattern Salary: GBP40,000 to GBP42,000 per annum + overtime paid at x1.5 x2.0 + benefits Location: Commutable from Barton upon Humber, Scunthorpe, Grimsby, Hull, Ulceby and surrounding areas Company A heavy plant manufacturing company who offers challenging and rewarding careers for Mechanical Maintenance Engineers / Mechanical Fitters are looking for an individual who wants to be part of an established and successful team. Ideally in some form of maintenance or fitting or servicing role gained in an industrial or manufacturing environment. Responsibilities As a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer / Maintenance Fitter you will be part of our clients hands on inhouse team who keep the plant running by ensuring the equipment runs smoothly. From troubleshooting to planned preventive maintenance (PPM), you will be hands-on with specialist machinery, ensuring everything runs like clockwork. It #39;s a dynamic role where problem-solving skills and technical expertise are used daily, and you will be a key player contributing to the efficiency and reliability of their production processes. Their engineers have a varied role, so you rsquo;ll get the chance to use a variety of maintenance skills associated with being a fitter, fabricator, welder, and service engineer Requirements * You will be a mechanically biased engineer with experience working in manufacturing / factory environments, with a minimum level 3 qualification in an Engineering discipline. * Safety is their biggest priority, so you rsquo;ll be committed to safe working and have strong experience of health and safety best practice. * As this role is sometimes physically demanding, you rsquo;ll be fit enough to perform your various duties. * Any experience of belts, chains, bearings ndash; fitting aligning, pumps, motors, gears, hydraulics, pneumatics, Arc / Mig welding and fabrication would be desirable ndash; training and support can be given on some areas * Diagnostics experience of hydraulics, pneumatic and drive chain fault finding is highly beneficial * Proactive work attitude and keen to get stuck in and hands dirty in this heavy plant role * Friendly and adaptable working attitude, able to work well in a team If this role sounds of interest, please apply now and send your most up to date CV to Jane at TechNichols Resourcing to be considered or call TechNichols Resourcing and speak with Jane for further information.
