EU/UK ADR Class 1 Tanker Driver Corringham, Essex GBP45,000 - GBP50,000 Pin Point Recruitment is looking for a EU/UK ADR Tanker Class 1 Driver for a manufacturing company based in Corringham, Essex. Job Role: bull; Responsible to the Logistics Manager and also the Transport Supervisor for the efficient operation of any of the heavy good rsquo;s vehicles. bull; Maintain the cleanliness of any vehicles driven. bull; Report any defects on the vehicles driven to the Transport Supervisor. bull; Operate the vehicle in the most fuel-efficient manner. bull; Ensure the vehicle driven is fuelled up to its capacity at the end of each shift. bull; Correctly hand over to the oncoming driver, highlighting any problems encountered with the vehicle. bull; To work in the best interest of the company in dealings with customers, suppliers, outside agencies and the general public. bull; Show due consideration to other road users. bull; Comply with driver rsquo;s hours regulations. bull; Accurately complete and submit Daily Vehicle Defect sheet and submit to the Transport Supervisor. bull; Correctly complete the daily management and weekly timesheet. bull; Carry out any other relevant duties assigned by the Transport Supervisor Hours: bull; 45 hour week - need to be super flexible as there are no set shift patterns, it all depends on the job and distances required Skills Required: bull; Competency in English and Maths. bull; Driver CPC bull; EU driving experience required bull; Qualified to drive heavy goods vehicles (Class 1 HGV). bull; ADR trained, carriage of dangerous goods. bull; Hold a good clean driver rsquo;s licence. bull; Experience in the operation of a Vacuum Tanker bull; Have good eyesight and colour vision and reasonable level of fitness to work with loads. bull; The ability to work alone and concentrate for long periods. bull; A Good understanding of health and safety, when loading and unloading vehicles
