Rarely for such a position, you’ll be able to work from home for up to three days per week. You’ll also benefit from 25 days holiday allowance (plus Bank Holidays and Christmas closure), pension contribution, healthcare plan, life assurance and annual bonus, and work within a friendly team of four people. In the role, you’ll be responsible for drafting bills of cost, including reconciling details of requested bills to matter ledgers and third-party records, reconciling multiple bank accounts, recording monies received into the firm, and processing payments. The right candidate will have solid knowledge of the Solicitors Accounts Rules, Clinical Negligence and Court of Protection billing, and preparing client interest calculations and working with VAT.
