Commercial vehicle sales executive

Westwood Recruitment are currently on the lookout for a Commercial Vehicle Sales Representative with a strong background in technical and commercial aspects, particularly within the commercial vehicle sector, with a focus on buses in the UK and Ireland. However, we welcome applicants with similar experience in related industries. This role is home based with occasional travel to the offices in Croydon and across customers throughout the UK and Ireland. Key Responsibilities: * Reporting to the Head of Commercial Vehicles, drive parts and service sales in the bus sector. * Foster and maintain relationships with OEMs and bus operators to explore all potential opportunities. * Plan and prioritize customer sales visits to promote services and aftermarket products. * Prepare quotations and stay updated on market trends to identify new sales opportunities. * Ensure compliance with company risk management procedures and provide timely responses to customer queries. * Support new business sales development as directed. * Maintain records of customer visits and attend trade shows and events as a company representative. Professional Experience Education: * Minimum 5 years #39; experience in commercial roles, preferably in manufacturing or sales. * Degree in Sales, Marketing, Engineering, or related field preferred. * Strong customer-facing experience and negotiation skills. * Ability to work independently with excellent communication skills. * Proficient in building and maintaining customer relationships. * Technical background or industry knowledge is advantageous. Package Details: * Permanent contract with a 36.5-hour workweek. * Salary range GBP55k ndash; GBP70k, dependent on experience. * Annual bonus (pro rata based on joining year). * 20 days holiday (pro rata). * Pension contributions * Life assurance, private health care, dental health care. * Salary/bonus sacrifice and cycle to work scheme available
