Project design engineer

The role: In summary, reporting to the project manager, you will be working on producing concept and manufacturing drawings for Packaged Utility Rooms. You will closely work with the surrounding pre-construction, pre-production, and production teams to deliver a high-quality product. middot; Produce manufacturing and concept designs for Packaged Utility rooms, usually incorporating the standard design concept and a high-level list of components that need incorporating within the PUR. middot; Create and check general arrangement and detailed part drawings. middot; Generate and maintain the bill of materials on the internal systems. middot; Troubleshoot and resolve design issues. Hours of work: Full time Salary: GBP35,000 - GBP40,000pa Requirements What are we looking for in you? middot; Good knowledge of Solidworks CAD software. middot; A minimum of 1-2 years #39; previous experience in Design for Manufacture and Assembly (DFMA). middot; Good knowledge of Product Lifecycle Management (PLM). middot; Some Mechanical and Electrical knowledge advantageous. middot; 2:1 Engineering Degree advantageous. middot; A high level of integrity, professionalism, and ethical standards.
