Assembly technician

Due to growth, our client is looking to recruit an Assembly Technician to enhance their existing team. What rsquo;s in it for you? * Starting salary GBP24,128 per annum, increasing with skills and capabilities * Day shift - Mon- Fri hours 40 hours per week * Flexitime - flexible start and finish times * 32 days holiday inc stats * Free Parking * Uniform * Opportunities for skill development and career advancement * Joining a business whom recognises its employees are its biggest asset, invests in employee development and holds a high employee retention rate * Fantastic work culture The Role: * Working from Standard Operating Procedures * Use of hand/ air and power tools to assemble small components to specifications * Placing HeliCoils into components * Working with aluminium and steel * Working toward production targets * Quality checking own work against specifications The Candidate: * Will ideally have previous assembly experience * Ability to follow Standard Operating Procedures to assemble components to specification * Confident in using hand/air and power tools * Ability to work to exacting standards * Experience in working to production targets * Willing to complete an assembly test at the interview stage Our client has an excellent development culture within the business and a number of key stakeholders have progressed into senior roles, they promote a positive working culture, and they encourage and support development across the workforce
