Community fundraising manager

Sue Ross Recruitment currently have a fantastic opportunity to work with a specialist charity based in South Sheffield. We are looking for a community fundraising manager to effectively lead and manage our clients Community Fundraising Strategy- growing this income stream. You will raise income from and build long-term relationships within the Community and with high value supporters to achieve agreed annual income targets. Researching, identifying, and cultivating relationships, winning fostering long-term partnership. Responsibilities include; * Contribute to the annual business planning for the fundraising department by developing and producing a detailed plan of activity including budgeting and forecasting income for Community fundraising. * Develop strong, sustainable cultivation plans for such supporters to ensure standard approach to maximise relationship and repeat fundraising/donations. * Work closely alongside the Income Generation Teams (Retail Fundraising) on collaborative projects and campaigns. * Lead on income specific projects effectively, following all internal and external processes. * Maintain detailed records of fundraising activities by organisations and ensure accurate reporting and effective evaluation of their activities. * Provide information to develop knowledge and understanding of community fundraising with relevant staff across the organisation. * Maintain awareness of other charity initiatives both locally and nationally that may influence corporate fundraising activity. * Maintain compliance with all current and relevant legislation in relation to community fundraising. Your drive, energy and positivity will ensure that our team continues to generate income in line with established activity programmes, that proposals for new fundraising initiatives are evaluated in a timely way and that activity is integrated across the team to ensure income is maximised.
