We have partnered with a well established UK lender specialising in Mortgage products. Responsible for the successful processing of loans through the complete application lifecycle through to release. Working with both intermediary #39;s and internal BDM #39;s as well as other internal teams and senior underwriters to ensure a successful process. * Assess loan applications and all relevant documentation and ensure completeness to internal standards * Case ownership throughout the cycle - driving process forward * Liaison with all 3rd parties, solicitors, other financial institutions etc * Tracking all applications on internal systems * Production and despatch of offers in compliance with internal policy * Conduct all checks to ensure loan is compliant with policy * Approve loan offers presented by assessors within authority limits and submit further recommendations if needed * Adherence to internal #39;within guideline #39; or #39;outside guideline #39; approval process * Advise on process improvements and efficiencies where applicable * Attend meetings as required * Ad-Hoc tasks as required by underwriting managers and Head of Loans Candidate profile * Experience working in a mortgage underwriting or assessor role * Knowledge of Buy to Let (BTL), Owner Occupier and HMO products * Knowledge of current FCA guidelines * Experience of working with manual underwriting processes * Full right to work in the UK * Able to travel to office location 1 day pw Northreach is an equal opportunity employer and we do not discriminate against any employee or applicant for employment based on race, colour, religion, sex, national origin, disability, or age.
