Shift maintenance engineer

Our client are a global manufacturer supplying products worldwide. We are recruiting a Shift Maintenance Engineer who will carry out planned and reactive maintenance on production equipment. Shift pattern is continentals 2 week days and 2 week nights, with a starting salary at over GBP48k later rising to GBP51k, additional overtime is paid at 1.5 rate. We are looking for candidates with Electrical bias or multi-skilled/ mechatronic experience in a manufacturing maintenance setting. The Role Planned and reactive maintenance on production plant and equipment Respond to breakdowns and resolve faults quickly Continuous improvement and machine upgrades Work across electrical and mechanical systems Work as part of a maintenance team to minimise downtime and maximise performance Record maintenance logs as required Work in line with company policy and health safety What we are looking for: Level 3 apprenticeship in Engineering, Mechatronic or Electrical Maintenance experience in a manufacturing/ production setting Multi-skilled across electrical, mechanical, hydraulic and penumatic systems Working knowledge of PLC #39;s, controls and robotics Interested?
