Senior Project Manager - Water Industry MEICA - Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, Control and Automation A leading MEICA contractor delivering projects within the water industry is looking for a Senior Project Manager or Project Manager to help with the delivery of their Thames Water framework. If you have strong engineering capability, an eye for value engineering, and experience in assisting financial decisions but are now looking for the next step in your career then this is for you! Duties for Senior Project Manager: * Project program compliance and updating (with planners) * Business development and client liaising * Monitoring and periodic review of project commercial performance (with commercial colleagues) * Project design liaison, review, and updating (with designers) * Safe delivery of projects to time, cost, and quality * Ensure compliance with applicable statutory and regulatory requirements * Management and monitoring of approved specialist sub-contractors and wider supply chain partners * Coordination and liaison with key project stakeholders (internal external) * Management of operational assets prior to client hand-over Candidate Description * Will have an engineering background with aligned academic and training qualifications Required Skills for Senior Project Manager: * Previous demonstrable experience in a similar MEICA/Civils project management role (ideally within water) * MEICA/civil works multi-disciplined interfacing * Computer literacy, particularly with MS Office applications is essential * CITB (SMSTS) and/or CSCS qualified for managing safely * Hold a valid full UK driving license GRS (Gearing Recruitment Solutions) operates across the following sectors, frameworks and industries:- water treatment, clean water, wastewater, waste water, wwtw, wtw, thames water, anglian water, cambridge water, essex water, ses water, southern water, southeast water, amp 6, amp 7, scottish water, sutton and east surrey water, wessex water, south west water, severn trent water, welsh water, united utilities, yorkshire water, STW, sludge, treatment works, chemical dosing, sewage, pumping station, booster station, paper mill, brewery, food processing, petrochemical, pharmaceutical, process engineering
