Finance systems analyst

Finance Systems Support Analyst Permanent Remote - Occasionally travel to Luton Office. The Role We are looking for a Finance Systems Support Analyst to work within the IT Team. You will be responsible for the provision of Impellam #39;s financial systems maintenance and support services to users of such systems, including Impellam #39;s Payroll, Billings and Credit Services departments. Key Responsibilities: Providing system configuration and maintenance on Impellam #39;s financial systems; by becoming an expert on the use of all aspects. Delivering support to existing finance and business users; investigating and resolving system errors, data discrepancies and queries. Providing 2nd/3rd line of support. Making customisations to Impellam #39;s in-house systems, where agreed and feasible. Responsible for daily checks and managing ticket. Fixing issues ranging from simple to complex. Liaise with software suppliers on the development of system enhancements to overcome known problems or further fulfil user requirements.About You: Clear and concise written and verbal skills. Well-developed time management skills. Demonstrates a strong commitment to providing excellent customer service, with particular attention to accuracy and detail. Excellent people skills, with a flair for influencing through a variety of styles and methods. Highly focused upon the setting and achievement of challenging goals and objectives. Maintains goodwill, achieves co-operation, and resolves problems with and between internal contacts and third parties in challenging situations. Essential Skills/Experience: Significant experience of working with package applications/finance systems and database infrastructure within a commercial environment. A demonstrable understanding of business processes, and of the ways in which organisations can leverage data and information to create business benefit. Experience of MS SQL server. Exposure to some financial systems and other payroll orientated applications processes. Demonstrates broad ICT knowledge, with an awareness of financial systems and processes. Ability to demonstrate effective troubleshooting skills. What Can We Offer You?
