SEN Maths Teacher Needed in Fareham Start Date: September 2024 ndash; Long-term contract with potential for permanency Type: Temporary to Permanent Salary: GBP150.86 - GBP230.35 per day Hours: 8:00 AM ndash; 3:30 PM About the Role: We are partnering with a SEN specialist school in Fareham, seeking a dedicated SEN Maths Teacher to join their team starting September 2024. This long-term role, with the opportunity to transition to a permanent position, involves supporting SEN students primarily with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. Classes are smaller, offering a more personalized approach, and will consist of students aged 11 to 16. The focus will be on Maths, with potential support needed in other subjects as well. Key Responsibilities: Provide tailored support in Maths to SEN students with SEMH needs. Foster a positive and engaging learning environment. Adapt teaching methods to meet individual student requirements. Collaborate with colleagues to ensure students #39; educational needs are met effectively. Requirements: Recent experience teaching in UK SEN schools. Strong commitment to teamwork and student welfare. Demonstrated ability to improve student achievement. Flexibility and adaptability in different classroom environments. Effective classroom management skills. Ability to deliver Maths lessons in an engaging and relatable manner.
