Technical Manager DARTMOUTH GBP35,000 - GBP40,000 + Company bonus scheme We are currently recruiting a Technical Manager for food manufacturer whose focus is very much championing organic and ethically sourced ingredients. The site in Dartmouth is part of a wider food group and is undergoing huge development and modernisation. The successful Technical Manager will report into the Group Technical Manager and will manage the site QA manager. You would be responsible for all technical activities on site. This will include, providing the site with a first-class technical service, which involves day to day management of the Quality Assurance team. You will also provide technical advice to all departments and customers to maintain long-lasting relationships. Technical Manager Roles and Responsibilities: middot;Provide reports and summaries to allow easy trend analysis and monitoring of important quality and food safety KPI #39;s (customer complaints, micro results, quality control information), allowing generation of robust improvement plans. middot;Initiate and ensure internal/external audits are conducted as per agreed schedule and any resulting non-conformances are dealt with in a timely and appropriate manner. middot;Responsible for the Technical relationship with customers and showing retail customers around the site. middot;Being primary contact for BRC audit middot;Deal with customer complaints, facilitating investigations and ensuring preventative measures are in place. Technical Manager Skills / Experience Required: middot;Food / Drink BRC Compliance experience middot;Can do attitude. middot;Previous Management experience middot;Happy to work on a small / medium sized site.
