Team Leaders/Senior Support Workers | Llanhilleth, Wales | Full Time | Salary circa GBP28,785.84 to GBP30,788.16 (inclusive) + Paid Overtime + Pension + Gym Membership. Are you the right person for the job? You will already hold QCF Level 3 Children and Young People and have gained experience of working within a Children rsquo;s Residential Setting. Once settled, together we will produce a Personal Development Plan and arrangements will be made with respect to appropriate training. A full UK Driver #39;s License is required for this position. What will your role look like? Organising and managing the shift in such a way as to maintain the safety of both children and young people and staff in compliance with regulation. Developing, reviewing, and acting upon individual care/pathway plans. Contributing to discussions with Social Workers as appropriate, CLA meetings, Education meetings etc. Liaising as appropriate with the young person rsquo;s family. Providing appropriate care within the home, in line with the home rsquo;s Statement of Purpose and the agreed individual care/pathway plans to include: Providing general daily care to young people, including as necessary meal preparation and supervision, laundry, cleaning, supervision of social activities etc. Maintaining comprehensive records/reports for key young people. Mentoring new staff. Promoting the ethos of the home. Acting as a positive role model. What can you expect in return? Market leading rates of pay. Paid Overtime (125% of contracted hourly rate). Overtime Bonus (GBP100 for every 50 hours of overtime completed). GBP50 per night sleep allowance when required (approx. value GBP3,300). 224 hours annual leave (28 days).
