Job Title: Site Manager Type: Permanent Location: Northwest Salary: GBP50,000 - GBP55,000 per annum plus package Start Date: ASAP A Tier 1 main contractor is seeking commercially astute Site Manager to join permanently and assist the Project Manager with all on site requirements for project deliverability. Projects are predominantly in the NW region, and you will be overseeing vast types of works across Education, Defence and Healthcare sectors. As such, previous experience overseeing new build/refurbishment works on Schools and Hospitals will be considered favourably. Key Responsibilities: bull; Manage the construction site, ensuring that work is completed safely, on time, and within budget. bull; Supervise all on-site personnel, including subcontractors, suppliers, and construction workers bull; Monitor project progress and provide regular reports to senior management. bull; Ensure that the project is delivered to the highest possible standard and meets all regulatory requirements. bull; Proactivity in identifying and resolving on site issues before they become apparent bull; Develop and maintain positive relationships with clients, stakeholders, and local authorities. What we require from you: bull; Previous experience working with a Tier 1 main contractor (essential) bull; Degree qualified or working towards a professional qualification. bull; Valid SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid bull; CITB Level 3 Safety Course bull; Strong leadership skills, with the ability to manage a team effectively. bull; Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks simultaneously. bull; Good knowledge of building regulations, health and safety regulations and procedures bull; Knowledge and understanding of different forms of contracts including NEC and JCT bull; IT literate - Microsoft and Asta Power Project This blue-chip firm specialises across a range of sectors: Education, Healthcare, Aviation, Defence and more.
