Prior experience of working with children is beneficial, but not essential. The Role As a KS2 Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in the support and assistance of teaching staff and pupils across KS2. You will work in both 1-2-1 and small group settings to aid the learning and progress of students and will participate in the adaptation of learning materials to ensure that the needs of all children are met in the classroom. First and foremost, it will be your responsibility to support the teaching staff in classroom management and ensuring a safe and positive learning environment.
