Commercial Manager - Tier 1 Main Contractor! Role: We #39;re seeking a talented Commercial Manager to join a Tier 1 Main Contractor who work on a diverse range of both new build and refurbishments schemes ranging from GBP500k - GBP100m. As a leading main contractor in the construction sector, they pride themselves on delivering high-profile projects. This Commercial Manager will bring expertise and leadership to their dynamic team. This individual will be leading either a framework circa GBP35m annually or take the lead overseeing a major GBP35m scheme in the Northwest. Key Responsibilities: * Provide strong leadership, management, and governance for all commercial activities, pre and post contract, across either a single large project or a portfolio of projects. * Drive clear costed strategies across projects on operational delivery, customer engagement and commercial management. * Support the business objectives regarding work winning/ repeat business and Customer management. * Actively promote and support the development of the Commercial team. * Engage with all internal and external stakeholders, adapting personal style to suit the needs of individuals. * Review of the monthly project cost reports and completing input into the business Board Reports * Ensuring the businesses cash management plans are rigorously followed. Requirements: * Proven track record as a Commercial Manager within a Tier 1 main contractor. * Extensive knowledge of commercial principles, contract management, and construction law. * Strong negotiation, analytical, and decision-making skills. * Excellent communication and leadership abilities, with a collaborative approach to problem-solving. * Bachelor rsquo;s degree in quantity surveying, Construction Management, or a related field (preferred). * Overseeing commercial projects ranging from GBP10m+ - GBP50m+ They have an industry leading package.
