Quality manager

Quality Manager / Quality Assurance Manager / QA Manager required to join a manufacturer in Farnborough, Hampshire. The Quality Manager / Quality Assurance Manager / QA Manager will manage a team of Quality Inspectors and Quality Engineers as well as being responsible for the maintenance on the ISO9001 QMS (Quality Management System). The successful Quality Manager must have quality management experience within a manufacturing / engineering environment as well as internal auditor (ISO9001:2015) experience. Package Competitive depending on experience 25 days holiday + bank holidays Pension Responsibilities Manage the quality team made up of 4 direct reports, including Quality Inspectors and Quality Engineers Understand customer needs and requirements to develop effective quality control processes. Measure and report in-process and final inspection data and implement corrective action Organise and manage QMS and EMS internal audits Work with the Purchasing Manager to manage the supplier approval process Monitor and measure supplier quality performance Manage all QMS and EMS documentation Measure and report agreed quality and environmental objectives and targets Ensure QHSE information provided is as comprehensive as required for the size and type of project Manage the customer satisfaction measurement process Ensure Health Safety standards are adhered to. Work with suppliers and customers where required. Liaise with various engineering departments Site based in Farnborough, Hampshire Requirements Proven experience in a quality management role ndash; including Quality Manager, Quality Assurance Manager, QA Manager or similar Internal Auditor ndash; ISO9001:2015 Engineering qualification would be advantageous Exposure to manufacturing, mechanical engineering, metalworking, fabrications, welding, machining, sheet metal, aerospace or defence sectors would be advantageous Commutable to Farnborough, Hampshire
