Brief job description: Estio Training have an exciting new opportunity for an IT Apprentice with Wizard Group, an IT Solutions Provider based in London. Job Description: Our busy office currently has an opportunity for a professional individual to fill the role of an IT Apprentice. In this position, the successful applicant will be responsible for working with our integration team to build, test and manage client orders. We are looking for a well-rounded character who can work well within an office environment and deal with pressure for meeting deadlines. Your duties and responsibilities in this role will consist of: Customer facing role. You will work alongside experienced colleagues, going to see clients and assist them with IT related issues. You will learn to provide technical support over the phone, remote access, onsite visits and suggest other products and services. Configuration and maintenance of PC’s, server, and other IT related equipment. Ensuring software and hardware is kept up to date and is reliable and appropriate. Maintaining and control itinerary of client’s hardware. Maintaining and updating system logs of IT related documentation throughout the company. Assisting clients. Answering calls. Qualifications: 5 GCSEs grades A*-C/9-4 or equivalent (including English Language and Maths) Skills Required: Practical skills. Ability to organise effectively. Self-motivating and able to use initiative and set priorities. Able to lift computers, printers. Punctuality. Able to communicate effectively at all levels of seniority. Personal qualities: Flexibility. Adaptability Good interpersonal skills. Ability to multitask. Organisational skills. Communication skills. IT skills.
