This is a key role in developing, maintaining and continuously improving our internal IT systems. The Role You will be a member of the IT Service Delivery team, working in a challenging environment, supporting the business in day-to-day operations, as well as facilitating business changes. The primary responsibility of this position is to develop, maintain, continuously improve and support internal IT infrastructure, including servers, applications and networks. This role will be a major stakeholder in the successful delivery and performance of IT services for our internal clients and the fulfilment of our obligations and Service Level Targets. What you ll be doing Assisting and guiding the Desktop Support team in providing a high level of service to internal users. Delivering a high quality service to internal users by resolving 2nd and 3rd line requests and incidents. Collaborating with Senior SysAdmins and the Infrastructure team on high profile requests and incidents. Monitoring, maintaining and developing internal infrastructure Maintaining and developing our security position, by working closely with our Information Security team Maintaining Disaster Recovery plans and assisting in failover tests Internal infrastructure project ownership and delivery Providing technical expertise to other teams in Trayport Training other team members on newly implemented technologies Maintaining a high awareness of information security requirements/concerns and complying with ISO27001 policies and processes What you ll know Deploying and managing Active Directory Deploying and managing Windows Server Service Desk processes and stakeholder management Understanding of- and ability to handle Information Security concerns in a modern IT environment Good knowledge of fundamentals of TCP/IP networks Excellent communication skills, both written and oral Proven ability to collaboratively pursue issue resolution and push for short term and permanent solutions to ongoing problems Understanding of fundamental computer architecture and operating system concepts Excellent knowledge and practical experience of Windows environments Practical experience of Powershell or shell scripting What we offer Competitive salary Generous bonus Excellent pension Fantastic holiday entitlement, 29 days + 2 Impact days to volunteer + public holidays Monthly wellbeing allowance Company share scheme Career progression plans tailored to you Interest free season ticket loan Cycle to work scheme Private health care Regular social events Plus much, much more Trayport is committed to creating and sustaining a collegial work environment in which all individuals are treated with dignity and respect and one which reflects the diversity of the community in which we operate.
