Assistant Project Manager Peterborough Permanent SMSTS, SSSTS, CSCS, First Aid 42 hours per week. 07:45hrs to 17:15hrs Monday ndash; Thursday 07:45hrs to 16:45hrs Friday Role Description: The Assistant Project Manager will be working alongside and offering support to the Contracts Manager on various sized commercial and retail projects of a construction and refurbishment nature for values between GBP10,000 and GBP1.5m. The primary role of the Assistant Project Manager will be to assist the Senior Manager in ensuring that the allocated projects are run efficiently and profitably ensuring full compliance to Health and Safety legislation and contract conditions. The most critical conditions being that all work is completed to a high standard, in a safe working manner, within programme and to the total satisfaction of our client. Main Duties Responsibilities: bull; Assisting the Executive Manager and their team in their managing role and responsibilities for the day-to-day running of projects and also running own small works projects. bull; Supporting and monitoring Health Safety practices and CDM Regulations on site. bull; Attendance of regular site meetings with client, Architect, Quantity Surveyor, Planning Supervisor etc. bull; Preparation of reports, programmes, progress and profitability reports. bull; Pricing and agreeing instructions with the client or client rsquo;s agent. bull; Contribute to formulating valuations and final accounts. bull; Assisting with the preparation of tenders.
