Head Chef : Events Up to A GBP 55,000 + Overtime London An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Head Chef to join a luxury event catering company as part of the senior management team based in London. As Head Chef you will be responsible for managing the kitchen team along with creating menus and delivery high:end food to outstanding events. Main duties; * Responsible for food production, packing and delivery of all events * Work alongside the development chef to create bespoke menus. * Oversee the work of the contract food production team ( this is separate food production to events) * Monthly stock takes * Manage the team of full time and freelance chefs * Create specs for all menus created. * Recruit and mentor additional chefs where required * Conduct spot checks of food quality and kitchen cleanliness to ensure the 5* standard Requirements; * Previous experience as a head chef within an event catering company * Ability to guide and manage a team * Be a creative chef always thinking of new ideas * Have excellent understanding of food timings and prep * Passionate about food * Excellent communication skills * Flexibility to work some weekends and evenings for event days If you are keen to discuss the details further, please apply today or send your cv to social....... corecruitment/ facebook/COREcruitmentDOTcom/ Tweet us COREcruitment
