The Role As an Aviation Trials Management Officer, you #39;ll have a role that #39;s out of the ordinary, working alongside MOD Typhoon fast jets in a dynamic environment with a range of industry partners. Day-to-Day, you #39;ll: You #39;ll provide high-level stakeholder engagement, including MOD and industry partners in the Typhoon programme, to deliver successful test outcomes You #39;ll also provide leadership and a technical interface between subject matter experts to facilitate the safe, effective and efficient delivery of Typhoon trials You #39;ll manage the design, planning, execution and reporting of Typhoon flight and ground trials. Identifying opportunities to broaden the provision of trials data, including through synthetic Test EvaluationThis role is full-time 37-hours per week, based onsite at RAF Coningsby, Lincoln. Occasional travel required to other QinetiQ, MOD and stakeholder sites within the UK. Some opportunities may arise for travel overseas. Qualifications of the Aviation Trials Management Officer You #39;ll need a relevant degree (such as aerospace or systems engineering) You #39;ll also need experience in the conduct of aviation test and evaluation as well as technical evaluations You #39;ll also need a demonstrable understanding of Typhoon, weapon and avionics systems as well as trials processesPlease note that all applicants must hold, or be able to achieve for Security Clearance.
